Brent Connelly Fire Chief

Fire Chief Brent Connelly brings many years of fire service experience to the position.
He rose through the ranks holding multiple positions including
firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief
and currently the Chief of the Department.

Dan Derrick Deputy Fire Chief

Deputy Fire Chief Dan Derrick is a second generation Lake Geneva Firefighter.
He began his service in 1972 under his father's command,
Retired Lake Geneva Fire Chief Tom Derrick.

Pat Heindl Assistant Fire Chief

Assistant Fire Chief Pat Heindl
began his service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 2005.
However, he served for 24 years on the Town of Linn Fire Department,
13 years of those years as Chief of the Department.
For the past 20 years, he has also been a
fire service instructor for Gateway Technical College.

Company Officers
 

John Peters Captain

 Captain Peters performs duties within the Fire Prevention Bureau as
a Fire Inspector and Fire Investigator.
In addition to Company supervision, he is also the Departments Fire Service Training Officer.
He began his service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1992.

Mark Moller-Gunderson Captain

Captain Moller-Gunderson performs Chaplain duties for the department and persons affected by emergencies.
In addition to company supervision, he also serves as Public Information Officer.
He began his service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1995.

Zina Opper Captain

Captain Opper assists the Fire Prevention Bureau in organizational duties and 
as the Departments EMS Training Officer in addition to company supervision.
She began her service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1995.

Ryan Derrick Lieutenant

Lieutenant Ryan Derrick is assigned to supervise and provide guidance to Fire Company personnel.
In addition to company supervision, Lieutenant Derrick is a
Certified Safety Officer and is a member of the departments Safety Committee.
He began service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 2000.

James Goorskey Lieutenant

Lieutenant James Goorskey is assigned to supervise and provide guidance to Fire Company personnel.
In addition to company supervision, Lieutenant Goorskey is the Dive Team Coordinator.
He began service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1998.
 

Dennis Detkowski Lieutenant

Lieutenant Dennis Detkowski is assigned to supervise and provide guidance to the EMS and Fire Company personnel.
In addition to company supervision, Lieutenant Detkowski performs duties as
a Fire Inspector and Fire Investigator and Webmaster.
He began service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1999.
 

Ed Zwiebel Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer Ed Zwiebel is tasked with
ensuring the operational readiness of all apparatus and equipment.
He began his service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1977.
