Chief Officers
Fire Chief Brent Connelly brings 28 years of fire serviceexperience to the position. He rosethrough the ranks holding multiplepositions including firefighter, Lieutenant,Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief to finallyChief of the Department.
Deputy Fire Chief Dan Derrick is a secondgeneration Lake Geneva Firefighter. He began his service in 1972 underhis father's command, Retired Lake GenevaFire Chief Tom Derrick.
Assistant Fire Chief Pat Heindl began his serviceto the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 2005.However, he served for 24 years on the Town ofLinn Fire Department, 13 years as Chief of theDepartment. For the past 20 years, he hasalso been a fire service instructor for GatewayTechnical College.
Company Officers
In addition to Company supervision, Captain Peters performs duties within the Fire Prevention Bureau as a Fire Inspector and Fire Investigator. He is also the Departments Fire Service Training Officer.He began his service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1992.
In addition to company supervision, Captain Moller-Gunderson performs Chaplain duties for the department and persons affected by emergencies.Also serves as Public Information OfficerHe began his service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1995.
In addition to company supervision, Captain Opper assists the Fire Prevention Bureau in organizational duties and as the Departments EMS Training Officer.She began her service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1995.
Lieutenant Ryan Derrick is assigned to Supervise and provide guidance tothe Fire Company personnel.In addition to company supervision, Lieutenant Derrick is a CertifiedSafety Officer and is a member of thedepartment Safety Committee.He began service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 2000.
Lieutenant James Goorskey is assigned tosupervise and provide guidance to Company personnel.In addition to companysupervision, Lieutenant Goorskey is the DiveTeam Coordinator.He began service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1998.
Lieutenant Dennis Detkowski is assigned tosupervise and provide guidance to the EMSand Rescue Company personnel.In addition to company supervision, Lieutenant Detkowski performsduties within the Fire Prevention Bureau as a Fire Inspector and Fire Investigator.He began service to theLake Geneva Fire Department in 1999.
Chief Engineer Ed Zwiebel is assigned toensure operational readiness of allapparatus and equipment.He began his service to the Lake Geneva Fire Department in 1977.
